Painting a Picture

I sometimes view each individuals life as a painting, we really are walking, talking, living, breathing works of art in progress. When the painting is finished, and observed what will the viewer see? When looking at your painting will they feel comfort? sorrow? joy? confusion? glee? sadness? ....anger?............Will they even feel the need to stop and study your painting???  Those close to you most likely will reminisce, and study your painting, but generally speaking most people probably won't. Right now, you have the ability to decide what your painting looks like, is it going to be bright and colorful? Will it tell a story worthy of interpretation? Will it be abstract, and appreciated by many who decipher it to their liking? Perhaps you would rather it be viewed by those who witnessed the colors being placed, who understand why certain colors clash with others. OR, you do want it to jump out at strangers? so that they have to at least stop and stare for a moment, possibly igniting a spark of interest, leading to further examination. These are all options that depend on your actions while painting your picture. What will people think when they view your painting? Do you care what they think? After all, once the painting is finished it will serve as the only record of your activities, and whether you like it or not, or care or not,  judgement will come. I hope you enjoy painting, hopefully your work will inspire, teach, and aid in the progression of artists to come.
