Appreciation Exercise
Some people, regrettably I think more than few, see someone have some-thing that they desire and experience envy. That some-thing could be, a person, a material object, an opportunity, basically any-thing. I can understand that envy may be one of the first emotions people may experience in that situation, it's all part of the human condition. Wouldn't it be great that instead getting envious initially at these moments, that instead we felt joy, happiness, even appreciation for that some-one else to be granted or to have earned that some-thing? We as humans have the tools to reprogram ourselves, lets use them!!! I honestly believe that if enough people made a conscious effort to express gratitude to another persons success's, be it a friend, family, or even a stranger, it would start a reaction of others performing the same appreciation without conscious effort involved. I won't point the finger, it's against my personal philosophy, but lets give this a try, each additional person that performs this exercise will only accelerate the results. I think you'll find that those around you will notice, and although they may not acknowledge it, you will "knowtice".
