An Unnecessary Necessity

I wrote this several years ago, and the philosophy behind this has been proven to me to be true every time since writing.

Nothing is much better than a false something.  If I can’t have exactly what I want, then I would rather have nothing.  Because of the fact that a commune between two people of either sexual gender will inevitably fail.  Sexual encounters only complicate any relationship, because physical love requires thought and anticipation, which lead to standards that can never be fulfilled, and creates a scenario where a surplus of effort is required than should be to maintain any type of relationship involving sexuality.  This is why I would rather have nothing. This is why I have to settle with nothing;  Anything else would be a lie, a false something.  I would be cheating the life of someone else, as well as my own.  That would create a living and sometimes functioning lie, and lies only complicate everything, this is why I choose to not lie, life can be complicated enough as it is, also when you choose to be honest it forces you to make better decisions, which make for a better life or better outcome depending upon the scenario.  This is why I do not lie, this is why I do not desire a false something, this is why I would rather have nothing.
